Terza antologia presentata all'insegna di Dark Delicacies, una tra le più note librerie web americane specializzate in horror, divenuta marchio narrativo con un suo primo volume premiato con il Bram Stoker Award nel 2006, e un secondo lo scorso anno finalista.

Curata ancora una volta da Del Howison con Jeff Gelb, e introdotta da una prefazione di Steven Weber, Dark Delicacies III: Haunted raccoglie 21 "stregate" storie originali di altrettanti autori, con una novella di David Morrell e racconti brevi, fra gli altri, di Simon Clark, Chuck Palahniuk e Clive Barker.
